Ever since I passed my AWS Developer Associate Exam in June 2019, I have been getting a lot of messages in my inbox about what materials I used and how much effort I put in to pass. So, I have decided to write a little bit of write-up to help people who might be considering booking to do the examination.
AWS (acronym for Amazon Web Services) is a subsidiary Amazon Inc that provides on-demand reliable, scalable, and inexpensive cloud services to individuals, corporate organisations and governments.
IAM is the Identity and Access Management of the AWS Accounts, this is where the whole AWS Security is managed, including Users, Groups and Roles. IAM is very important because, it is discouraged for a user to use or share his/her root account. Root users are supposed to create a group and roles with appropriate access and grant the roles to their users. Root users have access to all the AWS infrastructure.

Stress is for steels, Pressure is for tyres, It’s just an exam! That sentence was written boldly imprinted on the wall of the exam centre I did my AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Exam. On Monday, the 23rd July 2018, I became the latest AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (AWS CSAA) in town. I reported at the exam centre rusty, jittery, and scared. To be honest, that was not my first or second time in an IT certification examination centre, but I had not done a certification examination in years, so I wasn’t sure what could happen.
At first glance of the word StackOverFlow, the first thing that comes to the mind of a typical developer is www.stackoverflow.com, a web community where millions of developers help answer questions asked by other developers in different languages and technologies. In fact, many developers who probably do not code in java might not know what StackOverFlow is really all about.
Eclipse IDE was originally created by IBM after getting inspiration from a SmallTalk-based VisualAge family of Integrated Development Environment. It was released in the year 2001 as an open source software after a consortium with a board of stewards including Borland, IBM, Merant, Red Hat, SuSe among others was formed. 2 years later, the number of stewards had increased to over 80 members and in 2004, the Eclipse Foundation which is the developing community was created.
